Zoé Aubry

○● Zoé Aubry (Schweiz, 1993) entwickelt eine Praxis der kritischen, feministischen und experimentellen visuellen Forschung mithilfe der Fotografie. Durch die Verwendung von wenigen Bildern zielt ihre Arbeit darauf ab, die Mechanismen der Sichtbarkeit, Hypervisibilität und Unsichtbarkeit der vorherrschenden medialen Erzählungen aufzudecken und deren Zusammensetzung und dokumentarische Gültigkeit zu hinterfragen. Ihre visuellen Untersuchungen speisen sich aus dem Sammeln von Informationen und textlichen und visuellen Daten, die später die Grundlage für die Produktion antagonistischer Bilder bilden und neue Möglichkeiten der Wahrnehmung der Realität eröffnen. Sie hat einen Bachelor in Fotografie an der ECAL und einen Master in künstlerischer Praxis an der HEAD absolviert.
